How to use it

Agree the number first.

Most GTA weddings are paid for by more than one person, and often by two families. Agree the total and who is covering what before anyone books a hall. Then use the split to see where the money is going, and move it toward what matters most to you.

Keep the contingency line. Something always comes up in the last month, and it is far calmer when it is already paid for.
