What these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of weddingsbyamh.com (the "site"), run by AMH Weddings ("we", "us"), a wedding planning and production team based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. By using the site you agree to them.

They cover the website only. If you book us to plan or produce an event, that work is governed by the written proposal and agreement we sign together, which take priority over anything on this page.

Content on this site

We work hard to keep the site accurate and current, but it is general information, not advice for your particular wedding. Services, inclusions and areas served can change. Local details on our area pages, such as halls, permits and travel notes, are offered as a starting point for your own research; always confirm them with the venue or authority concerned.

Venues named on the site are named as local information, not as partners, unless we say otherwise. We never name our vendors on the site; they're described by role only.

Check your date

"Check your date" lets you tell us the date you're planning so we can follow up. Entering a date doesn't reserve it, and anything the page says about availability is a guide at that moment, not a guarantee. A date is only held once a proposal has been accepted in writing and the deposit set out in it has been received.

Quotes and proposals

Every wedding we plan is custom-quoted. Figures you see or enter on the site, including the budget ranges in the planning form and anything the budget planner suggests, are not quotes. A quote or proposal is only binding once both you and we have agreed to it in writing, and then on the terms it contains.

Sending an inquiry creates no obligation on either side. We may decline an inquiry, for example where the date, location or scope isn't something we can take on.

Planning tools

The wedding checklist and budget planner are free tools offered as general guidance. The checklist is a typical order of tasks, not a complete list for every family or every event. The budget planner suggests a way to divide a total you enter; it contains no prices of ours, doesn't know your actual costs and isn't financial advice. Decisions you make using the tools are your own.

If you ask us to email you a copy, we'll send it to the address you give. Tool progress is otherwise stored only in your browser, and we can't recover it if it's cleared.

Using the site

You agree not to:

• Send forms with false details, or on behalf of someone who hasn't asked you to.
• Use automated tools to submit forms, scrape content or disrupt the site.
• Try to access parts of the site, or systems behind it, that aren't offered to you.
• Use the site for anything unlawful.

We may block access or ignore inquiries that break these rules.

Our content and your content

The text, design, logo, monogram, illustrations, photographs and films on this site belong to AMH Weddings or are used with permission. You're welcome to view them, share links to our pages and print pages for your own planning. You may not copy, publish or use them commercially without our written permission. The AMH monogram and the AMH Weddings name are our marks.

Photographs of weddings appear on the site only with the family's permission. If a photo of you appears and you'd like it removed, contact us and we'll take it down.

Anything you send us through a form remains yours. You allow us to use it to reply to you, prepare a proposal and manage your inquiry, as described in our privacy policy.

Links to other sites

The site links to services we use, such as Calendly, WhatsApp and Instagram, and may link to venues, municipalities and other sites for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information. Their own terms and policies apply.

Our responsibility to you

The site is provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including the planning tools and the date checker. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited under Ontario or Canadian law, and nothing in them affects the terms of a signed agreement for a booked wedding.

Privacy

How we handle the information you share is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about the site will be dealt with by the courts of Ontario. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
